Not everyone wants to buy or live in a property in Leicester city centre or within the city limits.

Leicester has many desirable properties to suit every buyers needs and budget in its suburbs. These range from 1950′s detached and semi detached houses in areas such as Birstall,Aylestone,Western Park and Leicester Forest East just to name a few, to brand new estates in Hamilton and Thorpe Astley.
With the construction of the Outer Ring Road the majority of these areas have good access to the M69 & M1 motorways plus easy travelling to Fosse Park Retail Park.
Many of the small local developers such as Holmfields have built in many of these areas onĀ “brownfield” sites which mainly consists of large back gardens purchased from existing home owners and built new style modern houses and bungalows. This type of development breathes new life back into the community without destroying the character of these established suburbs. It also allows potential buyers to move into a brand new house and not worry about any decoration or modernisation that an older property might require.
A lot of smaller houses in these areas are town houses which are the modern equivalant of terraced houses but they provide an excellent opportunity for first time buyers.
Houses and property in general in the suburbs of Leicester are of a high standard with good local ammenities, good schools and a welcoming community.
It is always best practice to use the services of an estate agent who has an office in the area as the agents know the area well and are aware of any developments affecting the area and the effects it may have on your property.
